European League of Football (ELF): Week 7 can't-miss matchups and previews

Six games into the 2025 ELF season, the action has been fast, fierce, and full of highlights - from clutch plays to breakout stars.

Now, with Week 7 on the horizon, DAZN News turns its attention to a matchup that will define the playoff race.

Game of the week: Stuttgart Surge (4-1) vs Munich Ravens (4-1)

This one has the feel of a classic. Currently, Stuttgart holds the number three seed for the playoffs, and Ravens the fourth. Both teams are 4-1 and looking to secure their spot in the playoffs.

The Surge will be full of confidence after dropping a staggering 88 points on the Cologne Centurions last weekend.

Quarterback Reilly Hennessey has been sharp - he’s third in passing completion percentage league-wide and seventh in passing yards.

But Munich’s not showing up empty-handed. Russell Tabor brings dual-threat danger, with the third-best QB rating and 226 rushing yards to his name.

These two have already gone head-to-head this season, with Stuttgart taking the win 36–28. The Surge defense made their mark that day with three sacks and a pick.

Linebacker Dexter Fitzpatrick, who’s already logged five sacks this season, could be a difference-maker in what should be a closely-fought battle.

With Rhein Fire, Prague Lions, and Madrid Bravos all sitting at 3–2 and nipping at their heels, the stakes are clear. The winner stays ahead in the playoff race. The loser? Things get complicated.
