Amanda Serrano is set to kick off a busy 2026 with DAZN as she headlines a blockbuster rematch against Erika Cruz on January 3.
The star, who returns on the back of two losses against Katie Taylor in an era-defining trilogy, will hope she can return to winning ways.
Now Serrano, whose latest bout will be staged by Most Valuable Promotions once again, will enjoy a Puerto Rico homecoming.
It marks a first fight on her own turf since 2021, and comes with the weight of her first dance against Cruz high in the minds of her fans.
The pair's February 2023 encounter, which saw Serrano become undisputed featherweight champion, was a fight-of-the-year contender.
If the duo can generate similar star wattage this time around, then they will get the new year off to a roaring start before a vociferous crowd.
Serrano will be keen to put the results of her trilogy against Taylor, which saw the Irish star win all three of their professional encounters.
Each result was a closely contested affair, with the star frustrated she did not get the call across just about all her bouts with her fellow star.
Joseph Parker and Fabio Wardley fight on Saturday, October 25, to become the WBO mandatory challenger to Oleksandr Usyk. Watch the fight and undercard live and exclusive on DAZN PPV.
