Chantelle Cameron knew she needed to get inside of Michaela Kotaskova's reach.
Well, she did just that, getting there in a hurry and staying there to batter Kotaskova en route to a rousing unanimous decision win to become the new WBO super welterweight world champion. Judges inside London's Olympia scored it 100-90, 99-91 and 99-91 all in Cameron's favor.
Cameron, who defeated Katie Taylor in Dublin back in May 2023, smothered Kotaskova to the head and body with little resistance from the Austrian to stop her forward-fighting force over the 10 rounds, which were contested at three minutes each.
After the dominating victory, Cameron did not waste time in calling out unified super welterweight world champion Mikaela Mayer, who was in attendance at the Olympia.
"It's going to be easy to make because we're both with MVP," Mayer said on the ESPN app, before joining Cameron in the ring for a faceoff.
