This Saturday sees the next era of Scottish boxing get underway tonight with featherweight Nathaniel Collins taking on European champion Cristobal Lorente.
With former undisputed super lightweight champion Josh Taylor retiring due to a health issue, Scottish boxing is looking for its next star and Collins could very well be the man to fill the void.
But it will not just be Collins who will be looking to spearhead the next era of boxing in the country, there are a host of Scottish prospects looking to prove themselves such as Regan Glackin who faces Louie O'Doherty for the vacant British lightweight title in Saturday's co-main event.

Nathaniel Collins has been waiting for the moment to announce himself as a worthy contender at the top level, and his fourth round stoppage win against fellow Scot Lee McGregor did just that.
Following the win, he called out WBC champion Stephen Fulton Jr, and while a world title fight is not next, a European title bout is a worthy substitute.
Cristobal Lorente is an experienced fighter at this level, making three successful defences of the belt, albeit his latest outing in July was ruled a majority draw.
Backed by a home crowd, Collins will be confident he can put on a show. He has power in his hands after flooring McGregor three times last May, and this will be the avenue to pursue.
While Lorente will offer a stern test early on, Collins' power will eventually get through and see him stop the Spaniard late on with the roar of the Glasgow crowd providing a suitable soundtrack.
