The local hero has proven his ability to bounce back from defeat before and has done so again over the past two years with impressive skill.
After a June 2024 loss to future IBF champion Lewis Crocker, Walker rebounded with wins over Lewis Ritson, and then Harry Scarff.
The latter earned him the Lonsdale Belt, with one further defence against Liam Taylor, before he defeated Pat McCormack last December.

Relatively inactive in recent years, Eggington scored 2023 wins over James McCarthy and Joe Pigford before a 2024 loss to Abass Baraou.
He recovered with a win against Alan Sebastian Velazquez, but only fought once in 2025, scoring a UTD win over Lee Cutler in Birmingham.
