Diego Pacheco eager to face all challengers at super-middleweight: 'I'll be ready'DAZN

Diego Pacheco isn't looking past Manuel Gallegos, who he takes on tonight live on DAZN. But's he definitely looking forward.

Boasting an 18-0 record (15 KOs) at 22 years old, Pacheco has turned more heads in the boxing world with each passing fight. With a growing reputation and confidence to match, Pacheco expects to be in the super-middleweight world title picture sooner rather than later.

But first, he knows he has a tough challenge in Gallageos (19-1-1 16 KOs), who will fight on home soil in tonight's bout.

"I know Gallegos is a good fighter, he’s an experienced, tough Mexican fighter," Pacheco said.

"He’s durable, never been stopped, never been put down, so I am excited to be stepping up against guys like this. I’ve been showcasing my skills and power against a lot of opponents, but to do it against a guy like him will be fun and hopefully everyone recognizes that he’s a good opponent once I look good against him."

If everything goes according to Pacheco's plan, he'll have his hand raised tonight in Monterrey and add another victory to his resume. Should that happen, he's already got his eyes on a familiar name in the division: Edgar Berlanga

"Edgar is a good fighter, but I think that I am levels ahead of him, I’ll show that tonight and in the big nights to come," he said.

"I welcome any fighter in the top of the 168lb division to fight me, I want to come out as the best.

"I am only 22 so I have time on my side to fight all these names, so I tell [Matchroom boss] Eddie Hearn – line them up however you want, I’ll be ready.”
