Gilberto 'Zurdo' Ramirez made his first appearance of 2022 as he took on Dominic Boesel on Saturday in Ontario, Calif.
Boesel is a former WBA interim light heavyweight champion and the Mexican was continuing his move up from super middleweight in the hopes of a full title fight.
Ramirez needed just four rounds to force the stoppage, and then called for a fight with Dmitry Bivol.
"Everyone knows I want Bivol," Ramirez told DAZN's Chris Mannix. "Stop running. Make sure you sign the contract next time. I’m coming for you."
