Ring Magazine launches ‘Inside the Ring’, an exciting new weekly boxing show, exclusively on DAZN

Boxing fans will have another way to access the sport thanks to Ring Magazine's brand-new studio show 'Inside the Ring', which premieres this week on DAZN.

Veteran sports commentator Max Kellerman returns to his boxing roots as the host of the new show, which will also feature The Ring senior insider Mike Coppinger as they take on the biggest stories from around the boxing world. 

With fight recaps and previews, breaking news and analysis, commentary from a rotating cast of contributors from across the sport, and high-profile interviews with the biggest names in boxing, 'Inside the Ring' blends news, entertainment, and expert insight into a show that will be a must-watch for fans of the sweet science.

“This is the type of show boxing has always needed and never had,” Kellerman said. “The Ring has been the sport’s publication of record for over 100 years, and with the new vision for the brand, it is clearly leading boxing into the future."

And there's no better time to launch the show than during fight week of the blockbuster showdown between pound-for-pound kings Saul "Canelo" Álvarez and Terence "Bud" Crawford, who face off this weekend for Canelo's undisputed super middleweight title.

The premiere episode of "Inside the Ring" airs Wednesday, September 10, with both fighters set to appear on the show. There will also be a Thursday episode following the fight press conference and a post-weigh-in show on Friday, both of which will be broadcast from Las Vegas.

"If you want to be prepared for a blockbuster on the level of Canelo-Crawford, you have to watch this show,” Kellerman added.

After this week's historic fight, 'Inside the Ring' will settle into its weekly release schedule from its studio in Los Angeles, with episodes airing every Monday on DAZN starting on Septmeber 15 at 2 pm ET / 11 am PT / 7 pm BST.

“We promise to deliver fans destination viewing each Monday on all things boxing, from inside information to analysis of the weekend’s fights and what’s ahead,” Coppinger said.

“The sport has missed Max’s voice. And it’s a thrill to team up with him for this flagship show spearheaded by the iconic brand of The Ring.”

How to watch Inside the Ring on DAZN

The first episode of Inside the Ring is available to watch for free on DAZN and you can view via the DAZN App, available on smart TV's, phones, tablets, streaming devices, games consoles and web browsers.

From Monday, September 15, Inside the Ring will be included as part of a DAZN boxing subscription.
