Opponents were already being lined up for Oleksandr Usyk after he wiped out Daniel Dubois by fifth-round knockout to once again become the undisputed heavyweight champion, live on DAZN PPV.
Names brought up by Usyk in his post-fight interview included Anthony Joshua, Derek Chisora, Joseph Parker and Tyson Fury. One name not mentioned was Jake Paul, who was in attendance and got greeted with a chorus of boos everytime he appeared on screen.
After the ring cleared out, Usyk and Paul had what appeared to be a fun staredown.
"Congrats to one of the greatest heavyweights of all time @usykaa on a huge win," Paul said in the tweet. "I respect you a lot. Now we do an MMA match for the world."
While Paul teased an MMA contest in which neither guy has ever donned the four-ounce gloves, 'The Problem Child' created a post earlier teasing a boxing match first with Joshua and then Usyk after that.
"First AJ then OU. Book it," Paul proclaimed.
Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. back at the end of June. It's unknown when his next fight will occur. He has vowed it will be sometime at the end of 2025. A future fight has been teased with Joshua. Whether that comes to fruition remains to be seen.
