Nathaniel Collins faces a rebuild to reach the featherweight summit after a split-decision loss to Cristobal Lorente on Saturday.

'The Nightmare' returned to The OVO Hydro looking to go one better than the pair's draw last October in an WBC eliminator.

Instead, despite scoring a knockdown on his opponent, the Scotsman came up short on the scorecards in agonising fashion.

Victory for Lorente meanwhile tees up the Spaniard for a shot at current division champion Bruce Carrington later this year.
