Nick Ball can end the fight in the first or the last round against Sam Goodman, but the former's coach Paul Stevenson believes he will make for a "good match" against his man.
The Briton mounts the latest defence of his WBA featherweight crown on Saturday in Riyadh, on the undercard of Moses Itauma against Dillian Whyte on DAZN Pay-Per-View.
Goodman is stepping up from super-bantamweight in pursuit of a first world title after two bouts with Naoya Inoue fell through due to injury, and believes he can hand out a loss.
But speaking at Wednesday's open workouts, Stevenson backed his man to deliver victory no matter the stage of the contest while paying his respects to the Australian star.
"I've seen everything that I can see," he said on his preparations to guide his fighter against Goodman. "I always do. We've studied him in great detail, as much as we could.
"What I see is a good box fighter, well-rounded. He'll be a good match. They'll be trying [to take the title], it's very valuable.
"But Nick is one of them who can end the fight in the first round or end the fight int the twelfth round. If this fella can live with what Nick is dishing out, then fair play to him.
"I've never seen [anybody go through Ball] before. He's sparred welterweights and middleweights, and I've never seen anybody do that before. If he can, fair play to him."
Moses Itauma vs Dillian Whyte is live and exclusive on DAZN PPV this Saturday, August 16. Watch the PPV for free by purchasing a DAZN annual subscription (exc. US).
