'A Prada knock-off!' - Ryan Garner reveals hilarious belt location before Reece Bellotti blockbuster
Ryan Garner has revealed he keeps his European super-featherweight belt in a "Prada knock-off" - but hopes to upgrade with victory against Reece Bellotti on Saturday.
The pair face off for the British, Commonwealth and European titles, with the star holding the latter straps, at Bournemouth International Centre, live to watch on DAZN.
In an exclusive interview with DAZN News , Garner has revealed that he currently keeps his prized crown in a makeshift home but has plans to get something better soon.
"At the moment, I’ve got them in the back of the car in a knock-off Prada rucksack that I bought from Turkey," he said.
"When we did media stuff, Reece had a briefcase with all his belts in, which he said he got given when he won the British belt. Hopefully if I win it, I’ll get something proper."
Irrespective of his accessories however, the star believes he is in top form ahead of his toughest bout to date, and believes he can write himself into the record books.
"I feel amazing," he adds." It’s the biggest fight of my career. I’m going in with so much confidence.
"How I’ve been sparring, how I’ve been in the gym. It’s a massive opportunity for me – not many people get to fight for the British, Commonwealth and European titles.
"Hopefully I can make history for the city and be the first person from Southampton to do it."
