Taylor Bevan believes that his jab is underrated amid his knockout status, as he prepares to kick off his 2026 tenure.
The rising British star faces Martin Ezequiel Bulacio on the George Liddard-Tyler Denny undercard, live on DAZN.
With stoppage success in all of his professional bouts so far, the star has built a reputation for ruthless efficiency.
But asked to consider his strongest weapon, the star admits that it is the less flashy work he takes most pride in.
"I've got a very good jab," he told DAZN News. "I'm not sure if people value it. It's the most important punch in boxing.
"They say the back hand will take you around the block but the jab will take you around the world. It's my best punch.
"I've been working on a lot in camp so I'm excited to show some of that. I showed composure and skills [last time out].
"I was thinking more about what I was doing, and broke him down over six rounds. I'm looking for similar this time around."
You could be forgiven for assuming it has been smooth sailing for Taylor Bevan thus far with the star's output in the ring.
But the fact he feels his jab has flown under the radar may suggest a desire to draw focus beyond his knockout skillset.
Bevan's heavy list of stoppages across his brief professional career so far speaks to his disarming power in the pocket.
Yet he surely wants to bank a few more rounds in 2026 as he further builds his sterling reputation across the next year.
He could find a fitting test here - but it remains to be seen if he can be taken into deep waters in earnest quite yet.
