Hamzah Sheeraz made his main event and super middleweight debut in the United States on Saturday night against Edgar Berlanga from Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, N.Y., live on DAZN PPV.
Sheeraz made the most of his opportunity by becoming the first person to knockout Berlanga when he stopped him at the 0:17 mark of the fifth round. The win made him the mandatory challenger for the WBO title to face the winner of the Sept. 13 fight between champion Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford.
There were plenty of reactions to Sheeraz's superb performance.
