Gilberto ‘Zurdo’ Ramirez will put his unified WBA/WBO cruiserweight world titles on the line against dangerous Cuban knockout artist Yuniel Dorticos at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, and exclusively live on DAZN Pay-Per-View, on Saturday night.

The bout will serve as the co-feature to the Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. main event, and with so many eyes on the card, Ramirez (47-1, 30 KOs) and Dorticos (27-2, 25 KOs) are likely to win over new supporters.

The victor is also likely to have his options as the majority shareholder of the cruiserweight titles.

IBF cruiserweight world titleholder Jai Opetaia already called Ramirez out for a fight, and he is just one of the possibilities to line up across from ‘Zurdo’ or Dorticos.

Here, DAZN News lists three possible opponents for the Ramirez-Dorticos winner.

Jai Opetaia

It was just earlier this month when Opetaia, the IBF cruiserweight world champion, scored an emphatic knockout of Claudio Squeo, only to lay down the gauntlet rather bluntly: “Next fight is ‘Zurdo’ Ramirez."

Opetaia (28-0, 22 KOs) has the total boxing package in the form of excellent footwork, timing and power in both hands — a sweet science concoction that would thrill against the pointed punching of Ramirez or the knockout artistry of Dorticos.

Plus, such a fight would allow one man to wind up with three titles at 200 pounds, further unifying the cruiserweight division.

Badou Jack

At 41 years old, Badou Jack (29-3-3, 17 KOs) is experiencing somewhat of a renaissance.

His late-career surge has him on a seven-fight win streak, including his majority decision over Noel Mikaelian in May to retain the WBC cruiserweight world title.

Jack is the consummate ring general, consistently manufacturing paths to victory powered by veteran savvy and boxing tactics.

The Swedish boxer would test either Ramirez or Dorticos mentally as much as physically … unless Paul swoops in himself to possibly challenge Jack.

David Benavidez

David Benavidez (30-0, 24 KOs) currently reigns as the WBC light heavyweight king and could be pushing toward a clash with unified champ Dmitry Bivol for the undisputed 175-pound crown.

If he does not get that fight, Benavidez has already expressed to DAZN News that he would be willing to move up to cruiserweight and challenge ‘Zurdo’ — a fighter he respects.

Fighting Ramirez in a high-output fire fight or finding a way to tame the power of Dorticos would be must-see action.

Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Gilberto Ramirez vs. Yuniel Dorticos will be streamed exclusively on DAZN PPV on Saturday, June 28.  Buy the PPV now here .
