Usyk vs Dubois 2: Jake Paul wants to fight Anthony Joshua at this location and promises one vicious result
Jake Paul is hell-bent on making a fight with Anthony Joshua happen and he has the perfect venue in mind.
Appearing ringside at Wembley Stadium for the Oleksandr Usyk-Daniel Dubois rematch on Saturday night, and live on DAZN PPV, Paul said the historic London location would be apt to host him versus the former two-time unified heavyweight champion of the world.
"This is where it's going to happen," Paul vowed to DAZN's Adi Oladipo. "We're going to do the unthinkable and create one of the biggest fights in the history of boxing. That's what this is all about."
He added: "It's not even about this being realistic or not. It's going to happen. Fasten your seatbelts or whatever ... and when I knock him out, I go down in the history books forever."
Paul is fresh off defeating Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. by a comfortable unanimous decision last month, though a crack at AJ would easily mark his stiffest competition to date. Joshua is 4-1 in his last five fights, having been knocked out by Dubois in September.
Before a Joshua-Paul fight could come to fruition, 'The Problem Child' predicted Usyk over Dubois in the rematch, adding that he is siding with the man who he shares a birthday with, in addition to Muhammad Ali — all born January 17.
"Tonight [Usyk]," Paul said, "becomes the GOAT."
