Jesse Rodriguez is set for his first world title shot on Saturday night when he takes on Carlos Cuadras for the vacant WBC world super flyweight title.
Rodriguez was drafted in as a replacement opponent after Srisaket Sor Rungvisai was forced out of rematch with Cuadras after being taken ill at the fight hotel with a non-COVID related illness.
Cuadras vs. Rodriguez is the third main event to be scheduled for February 5th after Liam Smith's fight with Jessie Vargas was postponed after the American contracted COVD-19.
Here's everything you need to know ahead of Cuadras vs. Rodriguez.
The main card is set to get underway at 8 p.m. / 1 a.m. GMT. The main event ring walks are expected to occur at around 11 p.m. ET/4.a.m GMT, pending the outcome of the undercard fights.
