On Saturday the UFC hosts a Fight Night event from Seattle, WA headlined by two of the UFC's best bantamweight. And while fans should be excited for Henry Cejudo vs. Yadong Song, there's another fighter we think fans should also be primed to watch.
Brazilian Fighting Nerd Jean Silva could be the highlight of the card. Silva is coming off a Fight of the Year candidate fight with Drew Dober last year where he broke both his hands and earned a TKO win in round three. His never-back-down style is primed for barn burner and we expect his match-up with Melsik Baghdasaryan to be no different.
Silva has yet to lose a fight in the UFC and he's riding the high along with the rest of his team, which was voted Gym of the Year in 2024. Baghdasaryan hasn't fought since July 2023 when he defeated Tucker Lutz. A series of cancelled bouts saw him inactive in 2024 and he'll likely be itching to start his long layoff return off right.
Silva vs. Baghdasaryan takes place on the main card portion of the event.
