FIFA announce acts who will perform at the FIFA Club World Cup final Halftime Show
The FIFA Club World Cup final is set to be a star-studded spectacular after FIFA announced the line-up for the showpiece's Halftime Show.
Much like the Super Bowl, the final of this month's revamped tournament is set to be an all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey and three major acts are set to perform on what is set to be the largest worldwide reach ever for a global club football competition.
The Halftime Show will be curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay and support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise USD 100 million to improve access to quality education.
Global superstar J Balvin will headline the show, alongside GRAMMY-winning, multi-platinum star Doja Cat and Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer Tems.
While Tems is also equally excited to be performing and aiding FIFA's Global Citizen Education Fund, he said; “We’re going to bring the world together for a beautiful moment – to celebrate football, feel the unity that music brings, and improve the lives of millions of children through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
"I can’t wait – see you at the FIFA Club World Cup final!”
The show will be broadcast live and for free all over the world on DAZN, as well as all 63 games from the newly revamped tournament that kicks off on Saturday when Inter Miami take on Al Ahly.
