Juventus vs Roma preview: Team news, prediction, date, and how to watch Serie A on DAZN

There's a reduced programme for the last Serie A weekend before Christmas, but plenty to look forward to across the six matches on offer. 

DAZN is showing 380 live games across the 2025-26 campaign, and matchday sixteen's headline act sees Juventus and Roma battling it out on Saturday night. 

Roma got their best win of the season on Monday night as they saw off Como, the first time they've managed to beat a team in and around them at the top of the league so far this season. 

It leaves Gian Piero Gasperini's side in touching distance of the top three, just a point behind, and with none of them in action this weekend, they'll get an opportunity to chase down the trio as they travel to Turin. 

However, they'll face a Juventus side who look to be finally finding some form under Luciano Spalletti, and who got a big win over Bologna last time out to see them make ground on the top four. 

A win against Roma would see them draw level with the Rome club and really put them in the title race conversation for the first time this season.

Juventus vs Roma will take place at 7:45 pm GMT  on Saturday, December 20,  in Serie A. 

Fans watching in the US and Canada can catch the game at 2:45 pm EST and 11:45 am PT .

Juventus 

 Teun Koopmeiners will serve a one-match ban, allowing Gleison Bremer to start for the first time since returning from injury. Reports suggest Spalletti may also change formation and switch to a hybrid formation between a 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1.

Roma  

Roma will be without both Evan Ndicka and Aynaoui as they are at AFCON, so there could be a change-up in defence with Angelino likely to come in. Gasperini must decide whether to stick with Evan Ferguson in attack or play former Juventus star Paulo Dybala.

Both of these teams have made a habit of not conceding too many goals and nicking games this season, so don't expect a thriller. Given their home advantage and Roma's record against the top six, the Old Lady should sneak a win.
