Manchester United host Fulham on Sunday in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The Red Devils have had a season to forget, sitting 14th in the Premier League standings. Their hopes of a trophy now hinge on the FA Cup and the Europa League, but given the more straightforward path to a final in this competition they would be well served to place paramount importance on Sunday's match.
As for Fulham, they are ninth in the league and still in contention for a European berth. However, the prospect of domestic success should lure the Cottagers to put their full attention on advancing past a Man United side that they've already lost to twice this season.
Manchester United hold the advantage in all-time meetings, with 58 wins from 93 total matches.

"It's really important for us [the FA Cup] but nowadays everything is important. Like the last win, just the feeling of winning, the way we work in the last days is completely different. So, we want to go to the next stage, to have two wins at home, especially at home, we need that feeling."

“We really like the competition. It doesn’t matter against who, we have been able to be really serious with the competition. When we played against Watford and then the second game against Wigan, the players were really serious in their approach because we respect and love the competition.
“Of course, when you play against Manchester United, the noise is going to be different around the game, but this is the only difference, believe me. Our ambition in this competition is really big and we want to compete to be in the next round."
The Red Devils have had Fulham's number this season despite being lower in the Premier League standings, and this trend could continue at Old Trafford.
Prediction: Manchester United 2-1 Fulham
