January begins with a midweek round of games in Serie A, as the second half of the campaign gathers pace at both ends of the table.

Inter retook top spot on Sunday night with their fifth win in a row, with a comfortable victory over Bologna, inspired by Christian Chiuv's multifaceted attack. 

The league's leading goal-scorer, Lautaro Martinez, wasn't even on the scoresheet, but played provider in the 3-1 win, which leaves them a point ahead of Milan at the summit. 

They will look to continue the good form as they take the trip to a Parma side, who are just four points off the relegation zone. 

Carlos Cuesta's men have struggled to find consistency all season, but do come into the game off the back of a credible point at Sassuolo.
