Australian heavyweight Teremoana Teremoana continued his impressive start to his professional career with another knockout win on Saturday night.
Fighting on the George Kambosos vs Jake Wyllie undercard against James Singh, Teremoana arrived at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena undefeated in six with all six of those wins coming by way of knockout.
While Singh threw the odd right hand, Teremoana established his power early on, and it felt inevitable that the Australian would get another win within the scheduled six round distance.
A Teremoana straight right knocked Singh on to the canvas, and while Singh managed to meet the referee's count, it may have been better if he stayed down.
With Singh on unsteady legs, Teremoana threw plenty of combinations and backed his opponent on to the ropes.
The referee had seen enough and with 44 seconds remaining in round one he stopped the fight.
This win extends Teremoana's record to 7-0 (7 KOs), with this knockout being the Australian's fourth successive first round stoppage.
