The Serie A fixture takes on a reduced look this weekend with only six fixtures across Saturday and Sunday and none of the top three in action until after Christmas.
However, there are still some big games to look out for, with Juventus and Roma duelling out and a chance for the chasing pack to close in on the league's big guns.
Here's the full schedule for Matchday 16 of the Serie A season, plus how to watch all the action live on DAZN .
The title race has been one of the closest in Europe this season, but a 'top three' is slowly starting to form at the top of the league with Napoli and both Milan clubs. Roma are clinging on, a point behind, but their tendency to lose the big games against the rivals around them this season puts a question mark on their aspirations.
This weekend, they'll get another chance to prove they are more than pretenders when they travel to Turin and try to keep Juventus at bay, who are now just four points behind them in fifth place. Luciano Spalletti is finally getting a tune out of his Juve team, with the win over Bologna last week one of their best and important victories of the season. Beat Roma, and they're really in a European conversation as we head into the second half of the campaign.
Another week and another defeat for Fiorentina last time out as their winless 2025-26 continues. The loss to Hellas Verona was perhaps the most damming yet, as it saw the team directly above them in the bottom three move away from them as they get more and more cut adrift at the bottom.
It's already put pressure on boss Paolo Vanoli, who was only appointed in November to turn the club's awful start around. However, he's failed to make an impression and there are already rumblings that he could be replaced before the Viola's season is too late to save.
With only one defeat in their last five, Sassuolo are making a run for a European place, exceeding expectations from the promoted club at the beginning of the season.
Fabio Grosso's men showed no fear at San Siro last week, taking the lead and then denying Milan all three points in an enthralling 2-2 draw with the Rossoneri, proving they can duke it out with the league's best.
This weekend, they host Torino, looking to further boost their European credentials and continue to be one of the season's surprise packages.
