Despite Fernando Alonso's request for rain yesterday, Race Direction decided to delay the start for safety reasons. The Asturian, who started from the back of the grid, expressed his resignation after the race, in which he finished 14th: "A very boring race, as always when I start from the pit lane. Nothing happened: not a yellow flag, not a safety car, not a retirement...".
