American heavyweight ready to shock 'disrespectful' Tyson Fury

DAZN
Ultimate Tier: PPVs & 185 fight nights included

Momentum is gathering for Tyson Fury's comeback in 2026, and now a possible opponent has emerged for the former WBC heavyweight champion.

First reported by Sky Sports, American heavyweight Brandon Moore has been linked with facing Fury.

But while there is substance to a fight between Fury and Moore, talks for a possible deal are at a very early stage.

Moore feels "disrespected" by Fury

A fight against Fury would bring vast exposure and financial reward for Moore, but the fact he is being seen as an easy foe has made him angry.

He labelled this status as "disrespectful" when speaking to The Ring, and this is giving him the added motivation to derail Fury's comeback before it gets started.

“It is disrespectful that people think that I'm just the gimme fight that he's gonna have before whatever he has coming up next,“ Moore said. “I find it very disrespectful. I'm p—d that he even thought to even think of my name, but I’m excited. This is what I pray for.

"We're going to get in that ring [and] I'm going to show Tyson Fury some stuff that he's never seen before. I'm going to put that pressure on him, and it's going to be a night where I'm clicking, and he's not.”

Moore boasts a 19-1 (10 KOs) record with his sole loss coming against fellow American Richard Torrez Jr. in 2024.

Last year was an active one for 'OJ Bam' winning all three of his fights and maybe this high level of activity will give him an advantage over Fury who has not fought for over a year since two successive losses to Oleksandr Usyk
