Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren believe their partnership with DAZN can help pave a better future for boxing fans, with the former describing them as "the same family".

The Matchroom and Queensberry bosses, long-time rivals-turned-friends, have been united at the global home of boxing following the latter's arrival this coming April.

Both men have worked closely together in the past, particularly with the advent of Riyadh Season and the shift in the boxing landscape facilitated by Saudi Arabia.

But speaking on DAZN's Ariel x Ade: The Boxing Show this week, Hearn stressed that while they will remain rivals, the pair now appreciate each other more thanks to the move.

"The difference is now that we are talking, and we're making fights together," he said. "The great thing that we never thought would happen is that we're on the same platform.

"When [Frank] announces a great show, I look at it and think how good is that offering for customers [and] subscribers. This is the same family now.

"We want the best content on DAZN, whether that's coming from Matchroom, Queensberry, Golden Boy or any promoter around the world.

"The value has just increased so much for the customer. That's really what we want, because we want to grow this platform for the sport, for our businesses and for the fighters."

Warren concurred with Hearn, adding that the increased competition can help drive further interest to the sport, with both keen to see it grow further in the coming years.

"I'm really pleased with the relationship we've got now, because I do really feel, as much as we are rivals, we do in our hearts believe in our product and boxing," he said.

"We want to be the best, Eddie wants to be the best. The competition is going to be fantastic. At the end of the day, it means viewers are going to see special events all the time."
