Eddie Hearn has reiterated his belief that Oleksandr Usyk should hang up his gloves, but admits the lure of a stadium show with Daniel Dubois may prove too hard to resist.

The Ukrainian has not fought since defeating Tyson Fury for a second time to retain the unified heavyweight championship once again in Riyadh last December.

Dubois, who Usyk formerly defeated on his way to becoming undisputed champion in 2023, is the other title holder in the division, holding the IBF crown himself.

After the Briton challenged the Ukrainian's win after his win over Fury, expectation has been high that the two will meet, with a Wembley Stadium date now rumoured.

But Matchroom boss Hearn still believes Usyk should quit the game, not because he appears to be losing his powers but because he has nothing left to conquer.

Oleksandr Usyk

"It wouldn't surprise me [if Usyk-Dubois is set for Wembley]," he told The Stomping Ground  when asked. "I mean, that's the natural fight for Queensberry to try and make.

"I said I think Usyk should retire, not because he's fading but because he's [already] done absolutely everything, and how unbelievable [he has been].

"But a fight with Dubois is an opportunity for him to become a two-time undisputed heavyweight world champion.

"He has already beat Dubois but it is a very tough fight, especially with Daniel and the momentum. Dubois is going to be a handful and if that gets made, it will be great."

Both men have been ordered to face mandatory challengers in recent weeks, with Usyk tasked to face Joseph Parker and Dubois told to battle Derek Chisora.

The latter, who has said his next fight will be his last, has challenged for world titles twice before, but despite his experience, Hearn does not see him getting that shot.

"I wasn't sure he would beat [Otto] Wallin," he added. "He's hugely experienced and he knows his way around the ring. He knows how to beat fighters.

"He's tough for anybody, whether it is Usyk, whether it's Dubois. I don't see him fighting for the world heavyweight championship, next anyway, but who knows."
