'I thought they despised each other' - Carl Frampton reacts to Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn 'bromance' on DAZN
British boxing has entered a new era with two of the country's biggest promoters, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom and Frank Warren of Queensberry now staging their fight cards exclusively on DAZN.
Queensberry's broadcast deal with DAZN officially began on Tuesday with the first show taking place on Saturday night. It will see two former Olympians, Joe Joyce and Filip Hrgovic, meet in a heavyweight main event.

Seeing Warren and Hearn working together and being on the same broadcast platform is something British fight fans would never have expected considering the pair traded many verbal barbs in the past.
Now the working relationship is a strong one, former two-weight world champion Carl Frampton is looking forward to the fights which can now be made, with broadcasting rights historically often being a stumbling block for major contests.
"No I did not see this coming, and I think if anyone says otherwise, they are telling fibs," Frampton said in an exclusive interview with DAZN News.
"I thought they despised each other, but it’s good to see a bit of bromance going on at the minute.
"It’s a good thing for boxing to have two of the biggest promoters on the planet, on the same platform at DAZN.
"You’ll see fights between each stable happen more regularly, which up until the Saudis got involved and up until this changeover with Frank going to DAZN, it probably wasn’t the case.
"It’s all under one roof now, the boys seem to be getting on. It is a good thing for boxing."
An example of the magic that can be created when both Warren and Hearn work together happened last year. In the first event of its kind, we witnessed the Queensberry vs Matchroom 5v5 fight night in Riyadh, which pitted five star fighters from each stable against each other.
Unfortunately for Hearn, it was a night to forget for his Matchroom team, who were swept by Warren's Queensberry 5-0.
There are rumours that a second instalment of this unique concept is in the pipeline and it could be another explosive evening.
