The IBF has granted a Lewis Crocker and Paddy Donovan rematch after their first fight ended in controversy earlier this month.
The two met in a welterweight contest at Belfast's SSE Arena which was ended suddenly by referee Marcus McDonnell who disqualified Donovan in round eight after he hit Crocker after the bell.
This was not the first run-in Donovan and McDonnell had during the fight with the former deducted points in rounds six and eight for use of his elbow and head.
Following the disqualification, Crocker himself admitted that it was not the way he wanted to win the fight, and with Donovan's appeal for a second clash being successful, plans are in motion for what could be a thrilling rematch.
Reacting to the successful appeal, Donovan is excited to continue his path towards a world title despite this minor setback.
"I am very proud of the support Keith and Andy provided to me during the process," Donovan said.
"I have a great team around me. I am pleased with the outcome of the appeal. I am eager to get back in the ring to showcase my boxing abilities once again and continue on the path to a world title."
While a date or venue has not been confirmed at the time of writing, Belfast's Windsor Park is in the running to be a venue for the rematch.
