'Send me a contract!' - Keyshawn Davis eyes up lightweight rivals after WBO title victory over Denys Berinchyk
Keyshawn Davis has his sights on Gervonta Davis and Vasily Lomachenko after dismissing Denys Berinchyk with a fourth-round stoppage to become WBO lightweight champion.
The American extended his unbeaten professional record to end the Ukrainian's nine-month reign as title holder with a superb performance in New York on Friday.
Davis, widely tipped for world champion status since his amateur days yielded a silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, landed multiple knockdowns on his foe.
After finishing the bout with a brutal body shot over halfway through the fourth round, the 25-year-old has now taken aim at his division rivals as he chases further success.
"Man, it was an amazing feeling [to win]," he said in the ring afterwards. " "[I will face] anybody that has the balls to step in the ring and fight me.
"There are two 135-division champions that I would love to fight. If they have got the guts to step in the ring [...], tell them to send me a contract, or I will send them one."
WBA champion Davis and IBF belt holder Lomachenko have been touted as potnetial opponents for Davis upon achieving world championship status.
Neither however are seemingly interested in making a fight happen immediately, while WBC champion Shakur Stevenson defends his belt this month against Floyd Schofield.
