Ryan Garcia returns to action next month when he headlines a huge show in New York City, live on DAZN PPV, on May 2.
Times Square will host a huge show, and Garcia will headline the event as he goes in with Rolly Romero.
Those celebrations were short-lived when it emerged that the heavy-handed Californian had failed a drugs test meaning the result was changed to a ‘No Contest.’
The pair are expected to meet again at some point in 2025, but first they will appear on the same bill in New York City with both knowing that victory will set up a huge rematch.
Haney will face Jose Ramirez, the former unified world champion, at 140lbs, and he will be eager to prove that no scars remain from the beating he endured at the hands of Garcia.
Romero awaits Garcia and with the latter starting a huge favourite, Tim Bradley, a former two-weight world champion who fought Manny Pacquiao three times, has had his say.
“I think Ryan’s gonna catch him with that left hook and it’s gonna be ‘night night,’” said Bradley when speaking to Fight Hub TV.
“I think Ryan has changed definitely, I think his character has definitely changed with the way he’s displaying it now, a lot more calmer and respectful, he looks like a real businessman now.
“He’s not all loud and crazy like he was, he’s toned it down a bit. I respect that with Ryan, and I think he’s gonna be a lot more focused now.”
Fight fans are in for a treat at the end of April / start of May, with three amazing fight cards within seven days - and DAZN PPV is the only place to watch them all.
Arch rivals Eubank Jr. and Benn finally go head-to-head to start the exhilarating week, with PPV prices at £21.99 in the UK; $24.99 in the US; €24.99 in Europe.
Garcia vs. Romero and Canelo vs. Scull fight nights follow, which will both be exclusively on DAZN. These two PPV's prices are yet to be confirmed.
