Heavyweight veteran Kubrat Pulev returns to the ring on Friday when he defends his WBA 'regular' heavyweight title against Murat Gassiev. 

This will be Pulev's first defence of the belt after beating Mahmoud Charr in his native Bulgaria a year ago, and he will look to keep his dream of becoming a full world champion alive when he goes head-to-head with the former cruiserweight world champion.
