Thierno Barry has scored in back-to-back games for Everton, with his most recent strike the equalizer in the Toffees' 1-1 draw with visitng Leeds United on Monday.

The France native struck in the 76th minute to help secure the point for Everton, pushing them into 10th place in the Premier League, and it came as a bit of a relief for the first-year Everton forward.

Barry joined the Premier League side from Villarreal prior to the start of the season, and he admitted that it has taken some time to adjust to the English top flight.

"I played in Spain last season, so it is not the same competition," he told Sky Sports. "I needed to work every day to be ready to score."

Barry was certainly ready on Monday, getting on the end of Idrissa Gueye's cross to level the match for his fifth league goal of the season.

"I saw the cross and I was in a good place and finished the goal," he said.

After also scoring in Everton 1-0 win last week at Aston Villa, Barry will go for three straight games with a goal when the Toffees visit Fulham on Saturday.
