Juventus 2-5 Manchester City highlights: Premier League side dominant

Manchester City grabbed hold of first place in Group G of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup with an emphatic 5-2 victory over Juventus in Orlando, Florida.

Thursday's match was a meeting of the two top sides in the group, both of whom had already qualified for the round of 16 prior to kick-off. All that was left to be decided was the winners of the group, as both City and Juve collected six points from their two matches.

The goals came quick and fast in the sweltering heat of Orlando, as Jeremy Doku's ninth-minute opener for the Sky Blues was negated by Teun Koopmeiners' opportunistic strike two minutes later off an ill-advised Ederson clearance.

However, the Bianconeri then gave up an own goal in the 26th minute, the first of four straight by City as they added three more goals in the second half. Dušan Vlahović scored late for Juve, but it was little more than a consolation marker as the Premier League side cruised to victory.
