McCann's recent form has been nothing to brag about, with the Briton losing three of her last three fights. Her most recent outing was at UFC 304, when she lost by unanimous decision to Bruna Brasil.
The 34-year-old was set to face Istela Nunes at this event, but Nunes' withdrawal led the way for UFC newcomer Thainara to face McCann instead.
