From shockers to surges, Week 18 delivered the latest chapter in this wildly unpredictable 2025 NFL season as we now enter the postseason with Wild Card Weekend starting on Saturday and concluding on Monday night with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Houston Texans.

2. New England Patriots (14-3, ▲1 ): The No. 2 seed in the AFC. We will learn a great deal about Drake Maye and how he can effectively handle the pressure.

3. Jacksonville Jaguars (13-4, ▲1 ): The easy part is done. Now, they host Josh Allen and the Bills on Sunday. 

4. Denver Broncos (14-3, ▲1 ): The path to the Super Bowl in the AFC goes through Denver. 

5: Buffalo Bills (12-5, ▲1 ): No Patrick Mahomes standing in their way to make a run towards the Super Bowl.

6. Houston Texans (12-5, ▲2 ): Perhaps the hottest team in the AFC. Can they carry that momentum into the postseason?

7. San Francisco 49ers (12-5, ▼6 ): Tough loss to Seattle. Now, they start against the defending Super Bowl champions in Philadelphia. 

8. Chicago Bears (11-6, ▼2 ): The defense better find its groove in a hurry. 

9. Philadelphia Eagles (11-6, ▲2 ): Which team is going to show up as the postseason is here?

10. Los Angeles Chargers (11-6, ▼1 ): The darkhorse in a loaded AFC. This is head coach Jim Harbaugh's favorite time of year. 

11. Los Angeles Rams (12-5, ▲2  ): They have been shaky the last two weeks. Cannot overlook the Panthers.

12. Pittsburgh Steelers (10-7, ▬ ): After their miracle win against the Ravens, they better have the priest come and bring out the holy water yet again.

13. Minnesota Vikings (9-8, ▲1 ): Do they really need JJ McCarthy?

14. Detroit Lions (9-8, ▲3 ): Wonder how much Dan Campbell misses Ben Johnson.

16. Carolina Panthers (8-9, ▬ ): An unlikely path to the postseason and ahead of schedule. Playing with house money at this point.

18. Baltimore Ravens (8-9, ▼7 ): Horrific loss to end a shaky season.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-9, ▲4 ): What could have been after such a hot start to the season. 

20. New Orleans Saints (6-11, ▬ ): A better-than-expected season, and they found themselves a quarterback in Tyler Shough.

21. Dallas Cowboys (7-9-1, ▬ ): Another season of being mediocre.

22. Miami Dolphins (7-10 ▼3 ): Fans hoping for new ownership and a quarterback.

23. Indianapolis Colts (8-9, ▲1 ): Maybe, just maybe, Riley Leonard is the long-term answer at quarterback.

24. Cincinnati Bengals (6-11, ▼2 ): Let's hope Joe Burrow can keep that smile during the offseason.

25. Cleveland Browns (5-12, ▲2 ): Hard to see why they fired Kevin Stefanski.

26. Kansas City Chiefs (6-11, ▬ ): Will Travis Kelce retire?
