Fenerbahçe Opet vs ZVVZ USK Praha

Fenerbahçe Opet are the team to beat. The Turkish juggernaut has yet to lose a game this season and is chasing a third consecutive EuroLeague title. Gabby Williams continues to impress with her dynamic athleticism and defensive edge, while Kayla McBride brings elite scoring from deep.

ZVVZ USK Praha, meanwhile, is back in the semifinals for a fourth straight season after outlasting Beretta Famila Schio. Brionna Jones anchored the post with 17 points and 5 rebounds, while Valériane Ayayi added 19 points in a composed performance. Ezi Magbegor was crucial off the bench with 13 rebounds, and their control on the glass outrebounding Schio 41-28 shows they’re ready for the fight.

Valencia Basket are making history with their first-ever EuroLeague semifinal appearance, and they’re doing it with structure, composure, and chemistry. Led by Leonie Fiebich, who brings WNBA championship experience, and backed by consistent performers like Stephanie Mavunga, the Spanish side offers a well-rounded challenge for any opponent. Their ability to execute in clutch moments and space the floor makes them a dangerous dark horse.

CBK Mersin, however, are no strangers to this stage. The Turkish side has now reached three straight semifinals and are hungry to finally take the next step. Despite not being at their offensive best, they battled past Tango Bourges with a 66-59 win. Karlie Samuelson impressed off the bench with 11 points and 9 rebounds, while Natasha Howard notched a gritty double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Mersin’s depth and rebounding have carried them through tough games, but Valencia’s perimeter scoring and home-court support could be defining factors. Expect a tactical battle between two contrasting styles.
