Eddie Hearn has promoted many of Derek Chisora’s biggest nights and he is expecting his former heavyweight charge to have a tough night this weekend.

Chisora is back in action this weekend , live on DAZN in multiple regions, and he will face Otto Wallin with the winner set to receive a lofty ranking from the IBF.

Two fights away from his half century inside the boxing ring, fight 49 will see him face a stern test against the well-respected Swede.

Wallin is fully aware of what it takes to operate at the highest level in boxing after sharing the ring with the likes of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua

Wallin tasted defeat against both men, but he enters his contest with Chisora as a significant favourite and he will carry several advantages going into the fight.

Chisora has been a professional for 18 years and his legendary nights against huge names such as David Haye, Vitali Klitschko, and Fury , are certain to have had an impact on his body.

Last year, Chisora was able to turn back the clock as he produced a spirited performance to floor Joe Joyce before winning on the scorecards

That result has provided Chisora with the belief that he can still compete at the business end of the division and that means he faces Wallin on Saturday night.

Hearn, who has seen Chisora headline many of his shows, has offered his verdict on how things might play out.

“I think it’s a very tough fight for Derek, because, when I worked with Derek, he said he’d kill me if I put him in with a southpaw,” said Hearn when speaking to Boxing News

“Tough, tough night for Derek but hopefully he can do the business.”
