Devin Haney's hopes for a Ryan Garcia rematch have taken a blow after the star saw his rival fall to a loss against Rolly Romero after his own win against Jose Ramirez.
The American, unbeaten after his lone defeat was pulled to a no-contest following his foe's drugs ban, had hoped to settle his grudge in a second dance later this year.
Now, he will likely seek to find a new foe and another shot at silverware - but questions over his own performances will still linger following results this year in the ring too.
But just who is Devin Haney? Here, DAZN News profiles the star, including his personal stats, fight history and professional record, as well as his next bout.
Devin Haney is a American boxer who fights primarily at lightweight and super lightweight, and is a two-division world champion across both weight classes.
Born in 1998 in San Francisco, USA, he turned professional in 2015 and built a quick reputation for his impressive performances and tenacity inside the ring.
Haney became the first undisputed lightweight champion of the four-belt era in 2022, before he subsequently moved up a weight to take the WBC super lightweight title too.
Devin Haney has contested 33 fights as a professional to date, recording 32 wins , with 15 knockouts and one no-contest across the length of his career so far.
He has record statement victories against George Kambosos Jr. - twice - and Vasiliy Lomachenko, mounting two successful undisputed defences, as well as against Regis Prograis.
He was outclassed by a heavier Ryan Garcia in 2024 and lost by majority decision, but the result was ruled as a no-contest after the latter failed a drugs test.

Devin Haney's next fight is yet to be confirmed, but he most recently defeated Jose Ramirez at Times Square in May this year.
The victory by unanimous decision was far from one of the star's best, but it proved to be superior than that of rival Garcia, who was stunned by Rolly Romero on the same bill.
The result means that Haney's hopes of a rematch to avenge the lone blemish on his record are highly unlikely this year, with Garcia needing to revamp his reputation again.
