The fight is set to be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, located in the Gold Coast of Australia, and a familiar venue to Opetaia and his fans.
It was here that the star won the IBF title for the first time by unanimous decision against Mairis Briedis in 2022, and he returns now after multiple fights in London and Riyadh.
The venue will be used at the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games as a volleyball venue, and has also hosted concerts by acts such as Cold Chisel, Keith Urban and Nick Cave.
