Darren Till preserved his perfect crossover record in the ring as the former MMA star moved to three wins from three against Luke Rockhold at Misfits 22 on Saturday night.

The former UFC welterweight title challenger became the inaugural MFB-Pro Bridgerweight champion as he dismissed his fellow convert inside half the distance in Manchester.

After a back-and-forth buildup with both men disregarding the other as a serious threat to their legacy, it was two-time Misfits winner Till who saw off another new recruit.

The Liverpool fighter backed up a crunching third-round combo to put Rockhold on the canvas by calling out Carl Froch , attempting to storm towards the latter after his victory.

Elsewhere, Tony Ferguson made a near-seamless transition to the boxing scene too as he blew out Salt Papi inside three rounds at the AO Arena too with a TKO triumph.

The former UFC interim lightweight champion took a little time to find his feet in the opening exchanges, but ultimately showed his class and experience to seal the deal.

His success will surely whet the appetite to see him continue under the Misfits banner, with Dillon Danis - who earlier claimed an MMA win over Warren Spencer - an option.

Meanwhile, Joey Essex made it a successful start to life in the ring as the television personality backed up the advice of his uncle, famed boxing trainer Tony Sims, for the win.

The former The Only Way is Essex star struggled early on against Numeiro, but grew into a wild shootout that saw him claim the majority decision despite several standing counts.

Ty Mitchell however arguably scored the most important win of the night, defeating IBF-ranked Sean Hemphill by split decision for the MF pro super middleweight title.

The result not only ensures the former is now a two-weight Misfits champion, but also means he could well become a ranked contender himself with a major governing body.

Elsewhere, fans were treated to a plethora of stoppages, as Chase DeMoor, Rahim Pardesi and Amir Anderson all secured wins by TKO or KO further down the undercard.

They respectively saw off Natan Marcon, Amadeusz Ferrari and Vitor Siqueira to take the wins, while J'Hon Ingram defeated Banty Singh in the Misfits Kick-Offs too.

Finally, Demi Sims made it a winning start for the family alongside Essex as she beat Nadeshi Hopkins, while Carla Jade scored a comfortable points win over Daryn Harris.
