Tyson Fury’s claims of a trilogy bout with Oleksandr Usyk have been strengthened by his promoter Frank Warren stating that an agreement has been reached.
Speculation surrounding the Gypsy King’s latest retirement has increased over the past few months, with reports of Fury finally facing fellow British heavyweight Anthony Joshua picking up steam in May.
Boxing’s kingmaker Turki Alalshikh added further fuel to the fire by sharing that Fury would return to the ring in 2026, before the former WBC champion himself took to social media to announce a third fight with Usyk.
Despite the fact that Usyk is currently gearing up to face Daniel Dubois for a second time on Saturday, July 19, live on DAZN, Fury claimed that he would face the Ukrainian at Wembley on Saturday, April 18 2026.
Aside from Fury’s own social media, no confirmation was made by a promoter, nor Alalshikh. Alalshikh had hinted at a third Fury-Usyk fight when announcing the return of the Gypsy King, stating, “We have a rabbit to hunt.”
One of Usyk’s monikers is the ‘White Rabbit’, further indicating that Fury and those around him are aiming at a trilogy with the Ukrainian.
Warren reiterated that he is currently focused on the upcoming Wembley show between Usyk and Dubois, who Queensberry also represent.
Whilst Warren believes that Dubois will end up victorious over Usyk and become undisputed at heavyweight, he still feels that a third match between the Ukrainian and Fury would be worth watching.
Warren shared live on talkSPORT: “He's been talking about it a little bit. The facts of the matter is, Tyson was out in Turkey for a fight out there. Anyway, some calls took place and there’s an agreement made. There’s an agreement made. That’s all I can tell you at the moment. He had retired up until he said he’s coming back. Frank Sinatra retired a lot of times. If that’s how he feels in the moment, that’s how he feels."
He added: “We’ll see what happens. He feels he wants to fight Usyk again but like I’ve said, we’ve got a show on July 19 at Wembley with Daniel Dubois and I believe Daniel will beat [Usyk]."

Usyk defeated Fury twice in 2024, winning the first meeting via split decision in May before putting together a more complete performance in the rematch.
Fury has consistently claimed that he was robbed in both fights. While Warren was more diplomatic, the Queensberry mogul felt that his fighter should have won the last meeting.
Warren went on to explain that Fury’s desire for a third fight was to 'reverse' the previous results.
“He certainly believes he won the last fight and they were very, very close fights,” Warren restarted.
“They were good fights to watch, whether you like Tyson or you like Usyk. I thought [Fury] did enough to win it. He feels, if the fight happens again, he feels he can reverse the official decisions.”
