Two fights, two dramatic results.

That is what Johnny Fisher and Dave Allen have delivered to boxing fans in the span of less than five months. So after Fisher eked out a controversial split-decision in their initial clash, only for Allen to demolish his friend and rival with a fifth-round TKO in Saturday's rematch, will there be a trilogy fight?

Not if Allen has his way.

Standing victorious in the biggest win of his professional career, the 33-year-old Allen shut the door to that prospect for the sake of his friend, Fisher.

"I wouldn't allow it to happen because it's not in [Fisher's] best interests," Allen told DAZN in the ring. "There's lots of fights out there for me. I'd love to go back to Sheffield, Doncaster, as close to home as I can."

Allen was then joined in the ring by Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn who did say there is a rematch clause for the heavyweights, adding that Fisher would need plenty of time.

"I think that's got to be down the line," Hearn said. "Johnny has got to come back and rebuild."

In hindsight, Hearn seemed to second-guess Fisher's decision to take the rematch after winning the first clash with a controversial split-decision nod that could have very well been decided in Allen's favor.

"Maybe he shouldn't have taken a rematch," Hearn said of Fisher. "Dave said he didn't think [Fisher] should have. [Fisher] wanted to put the wrongs right."

Fisher came out as the aggressor Saturday night in London, working well behind the jab. However, Allen landing some big shots paved the way for a right hand that dropped Fisher in the fifth round before he slept Fisher at the bell of the same round with a devastating left hook. The referee stopped it immediately just as Fisher's corner simultaneously tossed in the towel.

While it will certainly be a rebuilding mode for Fisher, Allen can look ahead to bigger bouts.

"I'd like to see him headline in Sheffield or in his hometown in a big fight," Hearn shared. "He deserves it. He can fight. He can really fight.

"He could cause a lot of people a lot of problems. He knows the game inside-out."
