Aleksandre Topuria is the UFC 312 fighter to watch
The UFC 312 fight card is packed full of big fights and even bigger UFC stars but it's a name on the prelims that has caught the attention of MMA fans.
Aleksandre Topuria, the brother of UFC featherweight champion Ilia Topuria, will make his UFC debut in the featured preliminary position of the card. Aleksandre has been whispered about for months with UFC fans wondering why the UFC hadn't signed him after his brother saw such immediate success. Now the fans have been heard and Topuria is set to make his first appearance on the big stage.
Some have questioned his layoff as he hasn't fought since securing a first round TKO in 2023 but eagle-eyed fans have seen him training with his brother and the likes of UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili.
He will face local debuter Colby Thicknesse, who will have an entire country behind him when he steps into the Octagon under unimaginable pressure.
