Goalkeeper: Gianluigi Donnarumma (Manchester City)
Sure, it was against an overmatched West Ham, but Donnarumma came up big when needed and preserved the clean sheet with a trio of saves and the dependability his teammates expect.Â
Right back: Reece James (Chelsea)
James' versatility continued to shine through as he played in the midfield and as a full-back in Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Newcastle. The England man sparked the Blues' comeback with a stunning free kick.Â
Centre back: Joachim Andersen (Fulham)
A true leader at the back for the Cottagers, Andersen had a standout performance in their 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
Centre back: Jaka Bijol (Leeds)
The 26-year-old was a massive presence in Leeds' big win over Crystal Palace, winning eight duels and making two interceptions and four clearances. Oh, and he also provided an assist.
Left back: Djed Spence (Tottenham Hotspur)
One of the lone bright spots for Spurs in a losing cause, Spence won two tackles and created one big chance while also getting a shot on target in Tottenham's defeat to Liverpool.
Midfielder:Â Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa)Â
Rogers' rise to prominence echoes that of his team's rapid climb up the standings as the Aston Villa star scored another pair of goals to pace his team to victory over Manchester United. They were both bangers, too.
Midfielder: Tijjani Reijnders (Manchester City)
The Man City midfielder got himself a goal in his side's 3-0 victory over West Ham, but his presence was felt throughout the match.
Midfielder: Declan Rice (Arsenal)
Arsenal's metronome consistently gives top-class performances for the Gunners, and this weekend was no different, as he had three interceptions, three tackles, four clearances, seven duels won and one big chance created.
Forward: Nick Woltemade (Newcastle United)
A pair of first-half goals gets Woltemade into the team of the week, but the big striker probably could have had more. Either way, a good comeback performance after the previous week's stinker.
Forward: Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
Death, taxes and Haaland goals. Man City's attacking dynamo got himself another two goals as he runs away in the Golden Boot race.Â
Forward: Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Leeds United)
Another great outing for Calvert-Lewin, with two goals for Leeds in their dismantling of Crystal Palace. He's up to seven goals now in the Premier League. Could a place in the England World Cup squad be far behind?
