They are two of Europe's heavyweights, and this weekend they go head-to-head in a FIFA Club World Cup quarter-final showdown as Paris Saint-Germain take on Bayern Munich.
The two heavy hitters have been among the most impressive teams in the States, but only one will progress to the competition's final four.
Both teams are packed with world-class superstars and have been talked about as one of the favourites from the very beginning of the tournament.
But which players from the all-star line-ups would make it into a combined XI from both teams?
DAZN news investigates...
For viewers of DAZN's highlight show, The Press, the debate has already started with the panel discussing their combined team following the side's quarter-final wins on Sunday.
Using those games as a yardstick, this is the team they decided upon in the studio, made up of five Bayern players and six names from the Champions League winners.

It's a straight shootout between the present and the future as German legend goes up against Gigi Donnarumma.
There's no doubt that the Italian has been back to his best for PSG this season, especially in the Champions League, but we've gone with the all-time great. Neuer is still showing why he's still talked about in such high regard.

There's no debate on the full-backs. In Hakimi and Mendes, PSG have arguably the best pairing in Europe right now, whose all-action displays are effective at both ends of the field.
In between them, we've gone for one of each from the European sides. Johnathan Tah may prove to be a viable candidate in years to come, but you can't argue with the amount of big game experience of Marquinos and Upamecano.
Who would together form a cool, calm, and assured back two.

Sitting in the middle of our team is the combination of Kimmich and Vitinha, which has all the makings of an ideal midfield pairing.
Kimmich's industrialism and drive, mixed with the vision and finesse, would provide the perfect base for our combined XI.

Sitting just in front of the attack - and yes, it's a very attack-minded team is Michael Olise.
The Frenchman has been one of the best players of the Club World Cup as his stock continues to rise.
Here, he keeps out teammate Jamal Musiala and PSG's two-goal hero from their quarter-final win over Inter Miami, Joao Neves.

What a front three this would be. On the right, you have the skill, speed and trickery of PSG's leading marksman this season in Dembele.
Then, on the other side the intelligence of Georgia's Kvaratskhelia and in the middle a world-class goalscorer in Harry Kane.
But look at the talent still to choose from; Desire Doue, Kingsley Coman, Bradley Barcola and Thomas Muller just to name a few.
