Eddie Hearn's huge claim as Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn set to sell out in minutes
If fight fans want to be in attendance for the bad blooded fight between Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn, then they will have to act fast.
Eubank Jr and Benn are set to finally meet on April 26 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium two and a half years on from when they were originally set to clash.
Tickets for the fight will go on general sale on Friday, with a number of pre-sales preceding it.
Thursday saw Tottenham Hotspur members given the chance to purchase tickets and in a post on X, Benn's promoter Eddie Hearn announced that over 130,000 people were in the virtual queue and labelled this particular bout 'the biggest fight' Britain had ever seen.
"Over 130,000 people in the queue for pre-sale tickets for Spurs members alone," Hearn wrote.
"This is the biggest fight this country has ever seen."
Attention for Eubank Jr vs Benn will always be high due to both families being synonymous with British boxing, but the build-up to this contest has gone up another level after Eubank Jr slapped Benn with an egg at the end of Tuesday's press conference.
This contest will be the third major boxing event staged at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium following Anthony Joshua's unified heavyweight title clash with Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury's WBC world heavyweight title defence against Derek Chisora.
