Super Bowl star Saquon Barkley still hungry for more: "So many things I can continue to improve on"

Amid his preseason grind, Saquon Barkley took a moment to visit EA Sports and recreate the backward hurdle that came to define his unforgettable season .

Barkley joined NFL Network’s The Insiders to talk about reenacting his iconic move for the Madden 26 cover and opened up about the Eagles’ mindset as they chase back-to-back Super Bowl wins.

Looking ahead to 2025, Barkley walked the line between humility and quiet confidence as he backed the Eagles’ push for another championship run.

"We know what it takes," he stressed. "We can't skip any steps to get to where we want to get to. Last OTAs, it was the same thing, and we already know how training camp's gonna be and we know how it's gonna be during the season.

"We know the recipe, and we just got to stick to it and a little bit of luck when that comes in with staying healthy. We do that, with the talent that we have and the coaches that we have, and we'll be in a good position."

In Super Bowl LIX, Barkley eclipsed Terrell Davis’s long-standing record for the most rushing yards in a single regular and postseason combined.

Barkley may have delivered heroics last season, but his focus is firmly on the road ahead and the quest to repeat in 2025.

"It was a hell of a year. It was a year that you dream about, it was a year that you train for," he added. "The beauty of it is you have an opportunity to do it again.

"That's what the mindset kind of shifts to is learn from it, and even though you had a great year, there's so many plays and so many things I can continue to improve on. You've got to be obsessed with the little details and locking into taking your game to another level.

"Yes, we did it, we reached the top of Mount Everest, but now we all got to go back down and work our way back up."

The Eagles invested heavily in reinforcing their defense in recent months, re-signing  Super Bowl star Zack Baun and using their first-round draft pick on Jihaad Campbell , considered by many the best off-ball linebacker available .

With a stacked defense and Barkley laser-focused on the task ahead, the Eagles are built to make another title push.
