Frank Warren expects David Adeleye to chase bigger names such as Dillian Whyte as he reflected on a successful first night with DAZN on Saturday.

The Queensberry Promotions boss oversaw Heavy Impact, a blockbuster card of action headlined by Joe Joyce and Filip Hrgovic, at Manchester's Co-op Live.

The Croatian took victory by unanimous decision, while Adeleye claimed the British Heavyweight Championship in controversial circumstances against Jeamie Tshikeva.

Asked afterwards if either man could be in the frame to face Whyte, or rising star Moses Itauma, Warren agreed that bigger fights will be ahead for a major talent.

"Of course they are," he said. "They're young bucks and they want to take on the old guys. That's what they do. That's what this is all about, making the fights happen."

Adeleye's victory, which saw the star hit his foe after referee Ron Kearney called for a break of clinch before a successful stoppage, was a major talking point afterwards.

Warren admitted he wanted to have a second view of the event, adding: "I want to watch it back. A lot of fighters were saying that's the case but I want to watch it back."

The veteran promoter also feted Jack Rafferty after his dominant win over Cory O'Regan, whose corner threw in the towel for a fifth-round stoppage, as well as his foe.

"I take my hate off to O'Regan," he added. "What a couragous guy he was. He did extremely well. Jack's relentless, he weighs you down and that's a great performance."
